Celebration of New LivesNew Addition to the Family?
Please contact the church ([email protected]) to share the news of your family’s growth, whether by adoption or birth. We delight in announcing joyful news in the Embracing Meditation during the worship services. Celebrations of New Lives New infants are welcomed into the church community through the Celebration of New Lives. During the service families and their new babies are recognized and receive a flower and certificate to document the child’s participation and the congregation’s responsibility toward him/her. A reception is held in the Center Room following the service. This Celebration is generally reserved for members of Unity or families who are on the path toward membership. If you are new to Unity and not yet sure of your commitment to the greater church community, please contact Laura Park, Acting Director of Membership and Hospitality by email at [email protected] or by phone at 651-228-1456 x107 to help guide you through the process of making Unity your church home. The Celebration of New Lives ceremony happens four to five times per year. Contact the Michelle Mecey, Coordinator of Children’s Ministry by email at [email protected] or by phone at 651-228-1456 x127 for more information about this event. |
